Ms. Grennan is a Kingston native and graduate of Queen’s University. While at Queen’s, she completed the Concurrent Education program to earn her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics and her Bachelor of Education in Physics and English.

From a very early age, she knew that she wanted to pursue a career in education and is elated that her lifelong love of teaching is taking flight. While completing her post-secondary education, she worked as a tutor for the Limestone District School Board and Children’s Aid Society under the mentorship of passionate teachers and specialized educators. During her time with Queen’s Physics Department, she became the president of the student council and led a variety of mentorship, equity and educational events and initiatives for undergraduate students.

She has a diverse range of academic interests including science, literature, fine art and mathematics and draws on her multifaceted background to create cross-curricular learning experiences for students. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in equity, diversity and inclusivity fueled by her passion for advocacy work around racial and social justice, mental health and supporting the needs of diverse learners.
